View from my bike

Can you believe the London Eye is 15 years old already? It will be finishing school and getting a National Insurance card soon
I never get bored cycling around my city. It's constantly changing and I notice new things every day. I always look around and think of all these amazing sights I would miss out on if I was standing under someone's armpit on the tube.
As it's turning into spring I thought I'd share some of the sights I've been enjoying recently in-between taking off layers and losing gloves.

Dia de los Muertos

Bringing some Latin colour to the streets of London. Here's my pimped up BMX.
The day after Halloween is not only a hilarious time to watch witches do the walk of shame, it's the Mexican Day of the Dead festival. As my blog is refusing to change back from Mexican time I thought I should give it a Dia de los Muertos post.

My uncle in Mexico City sent me this picture of someone painting some bike street art.

This was a gift from my friend Natasha last time I left Mexico. It takes pride of place on my wall.

This guy hangs out on one of the Ecobicis on Reforma.

Remember this guy from last year?

From Venezuela

Thanks Alantl for sending me these snaps from Caracas.
They are amazing. I looked at them then hung up my rain soaked clothes in a haze of jealousy. If you need me I'll be sitting at my computer with a hidden tab of flights I can't afford. Gracias.

Bike Street Art// Einstein

"Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving"- Einstein.

Einstein also famously said "I thought of that while riding my bicycle" in reference to the Theory of Relativity. I have some of my best ideas while riding around. And every now and then, I spot an Einstein. Here are a few Einsteins I have seen over the years while keeping my balance and having ideas:

Brixton High Street, London. Summer 2010.

La Condesa, Mexico City. Summer 2013.

Bond Street, London. Winter 2011.

Parque México, Mexico City. Autumn 2012.

Tetris & Space Invaders

I am slightly obsessed with the mirror mosaic stickers that you can get from craft stores. I have been creating Tetris and Space Invader designs on EVERYTHING and EVERYONE. Mostly helmets. When light hits them, the mirrors create really cool disco ball reflections on cars, signs, dogs, babies....
Street Art by Invader. You can find his mosaic designs in cities all around the world.
A normal day in the office.

Notting Hill Carnival

Secret Garden Party

Me at Bestival with Luke Pom Pom. I might have gone a bit OTT
You should see the floor of my tent at the end of a festival. It has a glitter, mirror,  gem carpet.
